Parliament Suspended?!!

Congratulations, Mr. Harper, you've done it again. You have again managed to single handedly stop all functions of parliament to suit you not being thrown out of sussex drive. If you can't control your parliament, who undenyably selected you to control the fate of our great Nation, then why can't you just admit your obvious defeat? Together, the coalition holds a greater number of seats in parliament than your precious conservative clingers, hence while Canada may have given you more than any individual party, the majority of Canada doesn't like you all that much. With parliament halted it might just give you enough time to get your act together and actually enact legislation that will help people. I don't care that you've paid the national debt down, the first PM to do that in over a decade, I care that you're allowing Ontario's government to even consider changing our incredibly effective graduated licensing system. I don't care that you are a robot in parliament and in every debate you've ever been feature in, Harpertron, I care that you had no campaign promises of environmental legislation. Congratulations again, Harper, for screwing us up further. In a time of bloody financial crisis, when even corporate giant General Motors might go down, you've actually managed to do the one thing that could screw us further.

For The Coalition!

Finally, a good idea. this is what we truly need in this country, to be rid of all the bloody conservatives. The alliance between NDP and Liberals is strong, and is not a threat to Democracy, Mr. Harper. On monday parliament will vote on the confidence of the current government, and Governor General Michaelle Jean will soon be returning to Canada. In all likelyhood, she will suspend parliament until Mr. Harper can get his budget plan organised during this time of economic crisis. Hopefully, though, the goverment will lose confidence and will go to election which the Coalition, I believe, will garner enough support to win.
Hey, Harper, stop being a conservative tool and maybe your government will last for another few months. This is worse than the U.S., at least then we had fairness.

B.C. Man found guilty of Throwing Puppies down a Toilet.

First, may I be the first to say; what the hell?
This is the dumbest crime I've ever heard of being commited. 57 year old Frederick Hoath, of Pincher Creek B.C., was discovered last January to have thrown five puppies, live friggin' puppies, down his outhouse, and left them there to die. What the hell? The only thing I can think of to say is, "Bad Hoath! Very bad Hoath! NO! Don't throw puppies down a toilet! Bad!".
At least he was convicted of animal cruelty, and will be sentenced on January 27. No word as of yet if the puppies will press charges in private court on grounds of psychological damage.
My only question is as to why someone, well into life at 57, would throw 8 week old puppies down a toilet. I raise no blame to anyone in this article (except the old dog who will learn some new tricks in prison), but someone has to have influenced this decision.
Thank you and Goodnight!

The Conservative attack adds

So, I had just succeeded in repairing my TV last night, so I decided to sit down and watch the tube. Not much was on, so I decided to watch the old, reliable YTV. No sooner did I turn this channel on than a BLATANT attack add by Stephen Harper's conservatives on Dion, not the liberals, but on Dion, appear. The add claimed that when Dion was asked if he would cancel the government program for giving families an additional 1200 dollars, it quoted "yes".
Now, there are a few things that catch my attention in this particular add. The first, that this "conversation" with Dion took place in 2006. Hence this is completely irrelevant to our current government situation. The second is that this add was seen on YTV. YOUTH FRIGGIN' TELEVISION! The friggin' name of the channel spells out that this is not the channel to be broadcasting something that requires legal adulthood to participate in! What, is Harper hoping that come poll day some hundred thousand little kids will run up and scream, "Mommy! Mommy! The guy on TV said the Deen guy is a bad man! don't vote for him!".
The third thing I noticed was that these adds are very similar to the attack adds run by- you guessed it- the conservatives in '92 against Chretien. I'd like to bring up that Chretien won that election, and I believe that if Dion can get his act together, he'll make people realise that the conservatives are a bunch of childish pricks.
thank you and goodnight!
